PLEASE COME INTO STORE TO BOOK IN REPAIRS. THE GOLDSMITH CAN ONLY PRICE UP WORK WHEN HE PHYSICALLY SEES THE ITEM IN QUESTION.  

We offer an express service where your repair can be completed the same day (depending on the complexity of the repair), this costs 1.5 times the amount of the standard repair price, which will be given to you in store.

• Watches: We do not not do anything to do with watches including straps and batteries, and we recommend The Watch Doctors, 44 Upper High Street, Thame, OX9 2DW.
• Restringing: We no longer restring anything, and recommend Amy Surman at The Oxford Bead Shop, 75 Wilkins road, Oxford, OX4 2HZ.
• Anything that is not silver, gold or platinum: Our equipment is made for the melting point of silver, gold and platinum, if we use it on any other metal it will melt.
• Silver plated items: Silver plated items are usually base metal underneath so have the same problem with the equipment. We do not do silver plating.
• Gold plated items: When gold plated items are heated they turn black, when we polish this blackness off we also polish off the gold plating, leaving it patchy. We do not have the equipment to re-plate with gold, we only do rhodium plating. Therefore we do not repair gold plated items.
